AvailableCockapoo Singapore: the HDB Answer First
Cockapoo Singapore, the short answer: $3,988–$4,500 from an AVS-licensed farm, and it is not on HDB’s list of 62 approved breeds. The Poodle parent is on that list and the Cocker Spaniel parent is not, so the cross has no route onto it and lives 12–15 years in a condo or landed home.
The near-identical Cavapoo is the one people are thinking of. We sell both, so the difference is ours to explain rather than yours to discover afterwards.

Is a Cockapoo HDB-approved?
No. HDB approves 62 named breeds and the Cockapoo is not among them. The Poodle parent is on the list and the Cocker Spaniel parent is not, in either its American or English form, so the cross has no route onto it. Size does not change that.
What the approved list actually is
A list of 62 named breeds, plus a one-dog rule per flat. It works by name rather than by size, which is the detail that catches out every buyer of a small cross. The full HDB-approved breed list sets out every name on it, and no Cocker Spaniel appears anywhere.
Why size does not rescue it
A Cockapoo is a small dog, typically 5–12 kg as an adult, which is smaller than plenty of breeds that are on the list. It makes no difference. Approval attaches to the breed name, so a 5 kg Cockapoo is exactly as ineligible as a 12 kg one.
Cockapoo Singapore: puppies available now
Cockapoo Singapore price searches usually end at an enquiry form. Every puppy here carries its price on the card instead. Read the housing answer above first, because it decides this cross for most households here.
The 3 Cockapoos now at the farm are listed below, each with its own photo, age, colour and price. The price on the card is the price for that puppy.

The card price is the price
Not a starting point, not a range you negotiate up from. Every puppy available this week sits on one page with the same rule.
Cockapoo or Cavapoo: the difference that decides where the dog lives
This is the most consequential thing on the page and almost nobody selling either dog says it.
Both are a spaniel crossed with a Poodle. Both come out small, curly and often cream. They have opposite answers on housing, and the answer follows the spaniel.
Same recipe, different spaniel
Two spaniels, one list
The 62-breed list carries several spaniels: the Cavalier King Charles, the English Toy, the Japanese Spaniel or Chin, the Small Continental and the Tibetan. It does not carry the Cocker Spaniel, American or English.

What to do if you are in a flat
Look at the Cavapoo instead. It is the same idea of a dog, it is on the right side of the rule, and we happen to have far more of them.
Our Cavapoo page sets out that breed properly, and our breed directory marks which of our breeds are HDB-approved on every card. There is no version of this advice where buying a Cockapoo for a flat is the sensible move.
- Cockapoo Singapore rescue and adoption listings are a different route entirely and not one we run. Adoption here goes through the AVS welfare partners.
- A dog placed through them comes with its own conditions, and those conditions travel with the dog.
- The housing rule does not change either way. A rescued Cockapoo is as ineligible for a flat as a bought one.
Whichever way you go, confirm your specific dog against HDB’s own pet rules rather than against a seller’s page. The consequences of getting it wrong land on your tenancy rather than on ours.
How big does a Cockapoo get?
Our own breed data gives 5–12 kg as an adult. Like every poodle cross it inherits a range rather than a size, and the range follows whichever Poodle was used. Unlike the doodle crosses, though, the answer barely matters here: it is a small dog at both ends and it is still not on the list.
The two questions to ask anyway
- Which Poodle was the parent? Toy or miniature, and it decides where in the range the dog lands.
- What do both parents weigh, and can I meet them? An adult in the room beats an estimate on a listing.
The ears: the thing nobody warns you about
If you take one practical thing from this page after the housing rule, take this one.
- Long, heavy drop ears from the Cocker side, which reduce airflow into the canal.
- A poodle-type coat that holds moisture against the skin.
- Year-round humidity, so nothing dries on its own.
Those three together are why an ear infection is the commonest reason a Cockapoo here sees a vet, and why a Cockapoo's first year should include a weekly habit rather than an annual surprise. It is also why Cockapoo puppies benefit from being handled around the ears early, before it matters.
Why the ears are the weak point in this climate
Checking as a routine
Look inside the ears weekly rather than when something smells, and dry them properly after a bath or a wet walk. A groomer will usually spot a problem starting before an owner does, so ask them to tell you what they see rather than just handing the dog back.
Anything that looks red, smells, or makes the dog shake its head is a vet visit rather than a home remedy. Ears get worse quickly here.
The coat: low shedding is not low maintenance
Our own data rates the cross low-shedding and high-grooming, and those two belong in the same sentence. The coat is the reason people want the dog and it is the running cost nobody puts in the advert.
Brushing between grooms
A professional groom on a cycle is the floor rather than the whole job. Between appointments the coat needs brushing down to the skin, because the top can look fine while the layer underneath is already knitting together.
When matting wins
In this humidity it wins quickly, and a matted coat is clipped off rather than brushed out. Keeping it short is not a compromise here, it is the sensible default, and it also helps the ears.
Can a Cockapoo be left alone?
The questions Google shows beside this search ask whether one can be left alone for four hours. It is the right worry asked slightly wrong, because the answer is not a number.
Building up to time alone
This is a people-focused cross descended from a people-focused spaniel. A puppy taught from the first week that being alone is ordinary copes with it. A puppy that is never alone until the day everyone goes back to work does not, and that is where separation anxiety starts.
We publish no number of hours, because it depends on the dog and on what it has been taught, and a figure would be a threshold invented for an animal we have never met.
Is getting a Cockapoo a good idea?
In a condominium or landed home with somebody around for a good part of the day, genuinely yes. It is affectionate, bright and easy to live with, and one of the nicest small crosses to have in a house.
In a flat it is not an option at all, and in an empty home all day it is a poor one. The Cockapoo price is the least important number in that decision.
Do Cockapoos bark a lot?
A moderate amount, and usually at arrivals or out of boredom. Company, exercise and a routine around the door do most of the work. Continuous barking is nearly always a symptom of the section above rather than a noise problem in its own right.
Who this dog does not suit
- Anyone in an HDB flat. A rule, not a preference.
- A household out all day, every day. This is the cross that minds it most.
- Anyone who has not priced the grooming or planned the ear routine.
Health: what each parent brings
Ear infections are the most common day-to-day problem, because drop ears plus a humid climate plus a coat that holds moisture is an unhelpful combination. From the Cocker side, eye conditions and patellar issues; from the Poodle side, eye conditions again. Ask what the parents were screened for.
- Ears first, because in this climate that is the real one and it is manageable with a routine.
- Eyes from both sides. Ask what the parents were screened for by name.
- Knees from the spaniel side. Worth asking about with any small cross.
A cross is not automatically healthier than its parents, whatever the category’s reputation suggests. It inherits from both sides, so the useful question is always what was screened rather than what the label implies.
The questions people also ask about Cockapoos
These are the questions Google shows beside this search. Answered short, and honestly about what a cross can and cannot be promised.
Is getting a cockapoo a good idea?
In the right home it is one of the better small-dog decisions you can make. A Cockapoo is playful without being frantic, affectionate without being demanding, and easy to train because both parents were bred to work with people. Little Cockapoos fit a condominium comfortably and travel well in a lift.
The wrong home is a flat, where it is not permitted, or a household that is out from morning to night. Neither is a comment on the dog.
Are cockapoo dogs high maintenance?
The coat and the ears are, the temperament is not. Buying a Cockapoo means buying a standing grooming appointment and a weekly ear check for the whole of the dog’s life. In exchange you get a dog that sheds very little and is genuinely easy to live with.
Cockapoo health questions here are mostly about those two things rather than about anything dramatic, which is a good position to be in as long as the routine actually happens.
How long will a cockapoo dog live?
Our own breed record gives 12–15 years. That is a long commitment for a small dog and it is worth reading as the real question behind the housing rule: you are deciding where this animal will live for well over a decade, not where it will live this year.
Can Cockapoos handle the Singapore heat?
Yes, with the coat kept short and walks kept to the cool hours. The Singapore heat is easier on a small dog than on a large one, and the humidity is the part that actually costs you, through the coat and the ears rather than through the temperature itself.
Are Cockapoos hard to potty train?
No harder than most small dogs, and easier than several, because they are quick to learn and keen to get things right.
What makes it hard in practice is inconsistency rather than the breed. Pick the spot before the puppy arrives and do not move it. People who train Cockapoos successfully are usually just the people who were consistent in week one, and Cockapoo puppies reward that more than most.
A Cockapoo is a playful dog rather than a boisterous one, and that mix of playful and biddable is why the cross has done so well as a family dog in Singapore.
The right Cockapoo for you is the one whose parents you have met and whose housing you have checked, in that order. Buying a Cockapoo on the photograph alone is how people end up with a dog they cannot legally keep.
What a Cockapoo costs here, and what is included
What a Cockapoo costs in Singapore depends on the puppy, and ours are $3,988–$4,500. That is the range of the ones listed above rather than a headline figure, and it moves as the roster turns over.
What the price covers
- The vet health check, and vaccinations to date with deworming at each visit.
- Microchipping, health certification and ancestry records.
- The record booklet, with the dates written in it, handed over with the puppy.
Homecoming at about week 9
Core doses at weeks 6 and 8 on the farm, homecoming about a week after the second, and the third at week 12 with your own vet. An optional fourth at week 16 follows if your vet advises it. The vaccination schedule sets out the whole first year.

- The puppies, the photographs and the prices: the live roster sheet, synced August 2026. Every card is a real puppy at the farm and the price on the card is the price. The range on this page is read from the site’s breed data, which is itself set from the listing rather than typed.
- The HDB answer and the Cavapoo comparison: the 62-breed list published on our own HDB page, checked against for this page. It carries the Cavalier King Charles, English Toy, Japanese (Chin), Small Continental and Tibetan spaniels, and no Cocker Spaniel of either kind. Confirm your own dog against HDB’s own pet rules, confirmed in a browser on 25 August 2026 since the host blocks automated requests.
- Adult size: our own breed record, 5–12 kg, published as a range because a cross inherits a range rather than a size.
- Ears and coat: first-party, from raising this cross at the farm, and stated as a routine to keep rather than as a warning about the breed.
- Licensing: AVS. Our breeder licence is BR25052, checkable on the public register rather than something to take our word for.
- Puppy vaccination: the canonical weeks used across this site, core doses at weeks 6 and 8, homecoming at about week 9, the third at week 12 and an optional dose at week 16.
- What we deliberately do not do here: name any competing seller, shop or social account, publish a number of hours a Cockapoo can be left alone, or claim that a cross is healthier than its parent breeds. Puppy Singapore is selling 3 of these and this page tells flat-dwelling readers to buy the other cross instead.
